Image description:  A mixed-media black-and-white portrait of a man from the chest up, with his head tilted ever so slightly to his left facing directly forward with a warm, closed-mouth smile. The artwork features a contrast in mediums: his face, features, and the curly hair spilling out from under his cap are rendered realistically in detail with visible graphite pencil texture. In contrast, his backwards baseball cap and hoodie are filled in with an opaque, solid black gel pen ink, creating a bold silhouette against the plain white paper background.
